Tomorrow is my last day of work. The end of 5 years of service. My emotions had been a bit bittersweet. Until yesterday when I received my year end evaluation. I do not profess to be the best at my job. By far not perfect. I have a tendency to bend the rules to fit my needs, but never the important rules. And never the rules that jeopardize the integrity of what I do. So I listen to my head phones when I'm not supposed to. But I only listen with 1 ear bud in place. That way I am able to continue functioning in my environment, yet I still feed the need of my brain to be stimulated on many levels at once. I occasionally will take a phone call while on the clock. I try to make sure it is during my down time, but I am still on the clock. My evaluation consists of about 25 questions that are marked in 4 categories. The categories are unsatisfactory, needs improvement, meets requirements and exceeds requirements. I should add here that my evaluation was completed by my zone...
